Fitment Grid

Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026

1. Agreement & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") represent a legal, binding agreement between you ("you," "user," or "customer") and Fitment Grid ("we," "our," or "us"), concerning your access to, navigation of, or purchases made on our online automotive parts marketplace and catalogs.

By browsing our catalog, registering an account, or committing vehicle fitments, you agree that you have read, understood, and accept to be bound by these clauses. If you do not support these conditions, you are prohibited from utilizing our features and must log out immediately.

2. Account Creation & Garage Inputs

When registering an account on Fitment Grid, you warrant that all information you supply (such as payment records, delivery details, and vehicle characteristics) is accurate. You are solely responsible for:

  • Safeguarding your profile access credentials.
  • Ensuring that the vehicle trim, engine displacement, and brake setup saved in your Garage match your physical automobile to prevent incorrect fitment alerts.
  • All activities, purchases, and orders placed under your user profile.

3. Catalog Descriptions & Pricing Errors

While we work to maintain database consistency, catalog listings may occasionally display errors regarding pricing, pictures, stock, or compatibility parameters.

We reserve the absolute right to cancel, reject, or void any submitted order if pricing errors or catalog inaccuracies occur. If your card has already been charged, we will instantly process a full refund to your original payment processor.

4. Professional Installation Directive

CRITICAL USER DISPATCH: The automotive parts we sell often involve critical safety systems (such as brakes, steering columns, and suspension struts). We highly advise that all purchased items be physically installed by an ASE Certified Professional Automotive Technician.

Self-installation or mechanical modifications of parts are carried out at your sole discretion. Fitment Grid is not responsible for vehicle damage, towing costs, garage labor rates, physical injury, or voided vehicle warranties resulting from incorrect installation.

5. Intellectual Property

Our website designs, search logic structures, code, databases, product catalogs, SKU mappings, compatibility lookup matrixes, and graphics are the exclusive intellectual property of Fitment Grid and are guarded under copyright and trademark laws. Content scraping, catalog copying, or database mirroring for commercial resale is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Fitment Grid, our directors, employees, or parts manufacturing partners be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages—including vehicle down-time, replacement rental costs, lost commercial revenue, or repair fees—resulting from your use of the website or the mechanical operation of parts acquired from us.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and your relationship with Fitment Grid are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law regulations. Any legal actions or dispute mediation must be filed inside state or federal courts located in Detroit, Michigan.
