Beyond "Stiffer is Better"
The biggest misconception in suspension tuning is that a stiffer spring automatically equals better track times. While roll reduction is critical, excessive stiffness causes tires to lose contact with the tarmac over micro-imperfections.
Data Acquisition
We ran comprehensive telemetry tests on the F80 chassis using linear potentiometers on all four corners. By cross-referencing this data with our fitment database, we can confidently recommend spring rates that match your exact chassis weight (including options and driver weight).
The Fitment Grid Difference
When you input your specific vehicle trim into our system, we filter out generic "one size fits all" coilovers. You only see options where the valving and spring rates are track-validated for your car's specific kinematic geometry.
